In all of its years- they've only parodied right-wing culture. In the case of south park the creators are more right-wing than usually on television Assuming other people have common sense and "read between the lines" doesn't work because people misunderstand stuff all the time. What? So nothing should have a purpose or message? Even "good things" are bad? South Park's thing has always revolved around a little speech at the end of an episode on what the kids have learned in their little town and how that applies to their world view and acts as a direct form of social commentary because people don't pick up on it- because people need it to be told directly. I dont like it, even when I agree with it. Yes, Sesame Street has the agenda of educating children. Most shows have an agenda that they push, sadly.
